Why this policy exists
A job discovery platform is only worth using if you can trust what is on it. This page describes the process each listing actually goes through, so you can judge for yourself how much weight to put on what you read here.
How listings are selected
We list an opportunity when it meets all of the following:
- The employer is a real, identifiable organisation.
- The opportunity comes from the employer’s own careers page or another publicly available official application source.
- There is a working application route we can point you to.
- It is relevant to the audiences we serve — students, fresh graduates, entry-level candidates, career changers, remote workers and experienced professionals.
- Nothing about the listing suggests a scam, an unpaid “opportunity” disguised as employment, or a pay-to-apply arrangement.
We do not accept payment from employers to feature, rank or promote a listing. “Featured” on this site means editorially selected, not paid for.
What we check before publishing
Every listing is checked by a person against this list before it goes live:
- The employer exists and the role appears on their official channel.
- The source URL works and shows the opportunity.
- The application URL works and leads to the actual application.
- The job title matches the source — we do not rewrite titles for search traffic.
- Location, work mode and employment type match the source.
- Salary is displayed only if the source states it. We never estimate, infer, or add “competitive salary” to fill the gap.
- A deadline is displayed only if the source states it. We never invent an expiry date to create urgency.
- For internships, duration and paid/unpaid status are displayed only when verified.
- The description is summarised and structured, not copied wholesale.
- An original HireOrbitex summary and “who this is for” are written.
- The employer is clearly named and the source is clearly identified.
These checks are enforced in our publishing system, not just by convention: a listing cannot be moved to “published” without an original summary, a “best for” note, and a recorded verification date, and unverified salary or deadline figures cannot be saved as verified.
Original value, not republished adverts
We do not copy an employer’s advert and put ads around it. Every listing page adds material we wrote ourselves:
- a plain-English summary of what the role actually is;
- an honest note on who the role suits and who it probably does not;
- what to prepare before applying;
- an application checklist;
- questions worth thinking about before you spend time on it;
- links to related opportunities and relevant career guidance.
Factual details from the source — requirements, responsibilities, location — are presented as facts and attributed to the source, with a link to it.
How often listings are reviewed
Listings are reviewed on a rolling basis. Each one carries the date it was last checked by us, shown on the page itself, so you can see how fresh the information is rather than having to assume.
- Listings with a verified deadline are expired automatically once it passes.
- Listings are re-checked periodically, and any listing reported by a reader is re-checked promptly.
- When a source page disappears or the role is clearly filled, the listing is marked expired.
What happens to expired listings
We do not silently delete them. An expired listing keeps its page, gains a clear notice that the opportunity may no longer be available, is removed from search engine indexes, and shows current alternatives at the bottom of the page. That way a link someone shared last month still lands somewhere useful instead of a dead end.
Career resources and blog articles
- All articles are written by the HireOrbitex team. We do not republish others’ work.
- We publish when a piece is genuinely useful, not to hit a quantity target. Our publishing system rejects thin articles.
- Advice is general guidance based on common hiring practice, and we say so.
- Articles carry an author name, a publish date, and an updated date when revised.
- We do not publish AI-generated filler, keyword-stuffed pages, or pages whose only purpose is to carry advertising.
Advertising and independence
Advertising, if and when it runs, has no influence on which opportunities we list, where they appear, or what we write. Advertising is clearly labelled and visually separated from listings and articles. See our Advertising Policy.
How to report a problem
Anyone — job seeker or employer — can flag an inaccurate listing through the Report a Listing form, the report link on any job page, or by emailing support@hireorbitex.online. Reports go to a person, not an automated filter. Our Correction Policy sets out what we do next and how quickly.
What we guarantee — and what we do not
We commit to:
- naming the employer clearly on every listing;
- never presenting HireOrbitex as the employer for a third-party role;
- showing you the real application destination before you click;
- only displaying salary, deadline and stipend information we have verified;
- correcting errors when we find them or when you tell us about them;
- recording and showing when each listing was last checked.
We explicitly do not guarantee:
- employment, interviews, selection, salary, or any hiring outcome;
- that a listing is still open at the moment you read it;
- the conduct, accuracy or good faith of any employer or third party;
- that our review process catches every problem before you do.
The full position is set out in our Disclaimer.
On automated collection
We do not run a scraper that mass-copies and republishes job boards. If we introduce any automated assistance for finding opportunities, it will only ever assist discovery — every listing will still be reviewed by a person, given an original summary, and attributed to its source before publication, and we will respect the terms of the sources involved.
